There are team building activities like "Top Chef" style cooking classes, scavenger hunts, murder mysteries, painting classes and much more. With the warmer weather fast approaching, consider going to the beach to sculpt sophisticated sand castles. Or perhaps get the help of an expert to sculpt your company logo out of sand.
In this fun and carefree team activity, your group will learn to improve upon these important skills:
Participants get a brief lesson on sand castle construction and how to use the molds sand tools. Employees break into teams and pick a design to build. The team is comprised of six to eight people and the work must be agreed upon and divided amongst participants. This activity usually requires two hours and requires access to sand and water.
At the end of the time limit, a judge picks a winning team based on creativity, complexity of the sand castle design, artwork and team effort.
It is the perfect way to encourage collaborative idea sharing while getting out of the office in the summer.
