During my stay at Verdura Resort, I decided that I really wanted to visit an authentic winery and do some wine tasting. I chose Planeta Winery. They are one of Sicily's leading wineries and they make a stellar range of wines as well as premium olive oils, which you will have the chance to taste. They opened in 1995 with one winery and twenty years later they have six wineries in Sicily producing different wines. The estates have various activities and services that are perfect for corporate groups. You can choose between wine and olive oil tasting, team building events linked to wine, Sicilian cooking lessons by Chef Angelo Pumilia, eating at their authentic restaurants, swimming in their infinity swimming pool, laying out on the beach, cycling, enjoying their Turkish bath and fitness area.
